Stainless Steel Schaffer Diaghragm Gauge

Application

Schaffer diaphram gauges are used for the measurement of pressure with either gas or liquid. The fluids can be corrosive, polluted or highly viscous. For the measurement of highly viscous or crystallizing process fluids, a flange is used. Electrical contacts can be combined with the instruments for control functions.
A diaphragm gauge is used for the measurement of both vacuum and pressure. Ranges of 0 / 100 MBAR to 0 / 25 BAR (0 / 40 IN WG to 0 / 400 PSI).
Applications include: liquid level mesurement, fuel pumps, storage tanks, generators, absorbers, concrete filling systems, paint filter presses, irrigation and sludge pumps, trucks, sewage removal, road and mining machinery.

Operation

Atmospheric is used as the reference pressure. A convolutioed diaphragm is clamped between two flanges. One side is deflects the diaphragm in proportion to the pressure. On the other side, a push rod is connected to a movement, which transfers the diaphragm defection to a pointer on the dial.

Mountings

Direct mounting bottom connection. Threaded or flanged.

Temperature Range

-20oC to 60oC Ambient range. +100oC process fluid temperature. Temperature adjustment 0.6% per 10oC. Reference temperature 20oC.

Accuracy

±1.6%FSD.
